Oleanolic acid (OA) shows a hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory effect. In clinical treatment of acute or chronic hepatitis, the recovery effect of OA has turned out to be good. Recently the effects of oleanolic acid has proven on inhibiting tumor growth and enhancing the recovery of hematopoi-etic system postirradiation in mice[1] and on the differentiation-inducing activities of HL-60 cell and M1 cells[2. the study probed into the influence of Oleanolic acid (OA) on proliferation, invasion and apoptosis.
